Our Story

Founded in 2011, the Morada Way Arts & Cultural District (MWACD) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to creating a vibrant arts and cultural hub in the Upper Keys. Located within a 6-block corridor marked by the iconic Green Turtle Inn and the Hurricane Monument, this district serves as the only downtown area between Key West and Miami. It is a lively gathering place where the community can enjoy galleries, restaurants, and studio spaces, all while promoting arts and culture integration into surrounding parks and bike paths.
