Our Story

In the late 1950s, three musicologists embarked on a mission to preserve the traditional music of Zimbabwe. They introduced the marimba into schools, igniting a passion for cultural heritage among young people. Co-founded in 1999, the Moon & Stars Foundation brings this vibrant music to the United States, offering multicultural experiences through lessons, workshops, and concerts.
