Our Story

Founded in 1996, the Montgomery Area Coalition for the Homeless began as a collaborative effort among 20 representatives from various health and social service agencies. This initiative aimed to assess and coordinate community resources to combat homelessness effectively. In 2001, MACH was incorporated as a nonprofit organization, expanding its reach to multiple counties across Alabama.

Our Impact

MACH provides vital services such as Street Outreach, Rapid Rehousing, and Homelessness Prevention across Montgomery, Autauga, Bullock, Lowndes, and Elmore counties, ensuring individuals and families have access to safe housing and essential support.
