The Montessori School of the Finger Lakes, originally known as the Montessori Children’s House, opened its doors in Auburn in 1981. Over the years, it has expanded from a preschool and kindergarten to include first through eighth grades. Now located on 9.5 acres in the Town of Sennett, the school is chartered by the New York State Education Department to serve children ages 3 through eighth grade.
This school fosters a peaceful community that nurtures respect, dedication, and integrity among students, teaching the whole being in a diverse and interdependent manner.
