Montessori Children’s House and School

Our Story

Founded in 1970 by a dedicated group of parents, Montessori Children’s House and School (MCHS) began as a small initiative to provide a nurturing Montessori environment for young learners. Initially held in a residence, the school quickly expanded, moving to a spacious 3.5-acre facility in the Lake Highlands neighborhood of Dallas, Texas. MCHS is fully accredited by the Association Montessori Internationale (AMI), ensuring that children receive an authentic Montessori education that emphasizes personal growth and development.
