Our Story

The Monterey Bay Salmon and Trout Project, founded in 1976 by Dr. Tom Thompson, is dedicated to reversing the decline of anadromous fish populations in the Monterey Bay area. This grassroots organization empowers its members to elect directors, ensuring community involvement in conservation efforts.
