Our Story

Mommy Sue's Children was born from a heartfelt connection between Rotarian Sue and Maxo, a dedicated interpreter who helped her during her humanitarian missions in Haiti after the devastating earthquake. Over the years, Sue made multiple trips to Haiti, focusing on supporting an orphanage and Maxo's school. When Maxo faced the heartbreaking decision to close the school due to lack of funds, Sue stepped in, rallying support from her Rotary Club. With their help, the school continued to thrive, and Maxo affectionately named the students 'Mommy Sue's Children'.

Impact

Despite the challenges, the children at Mommy Sue's Children are excelling, boasting an impressive 85% pass rate last year.
