Founded in 2006, Moishe House emerged from the desire of young Jewish adults to engage more deeply with their community. With the support of philanthropist Morris Squire, a group of friends in the Bay Area hosted a Shabbat dinner that sparked a movement. This simple gathering evolved into a model where young adults live together in a house, hosting peer-led Jewish programming for their friends and community. Today, Moishe House operates in over 27 countries, reaching more than 70,000 unique young adults annually.
