Founded by Dr. David and Laurie Vanderpool, Mobile Medical Disaster Relief began as a response to the urgent medical needs in developing countries. After witnessing the devastation of Hurricane Katrina in 2005, the Vanderpools established LiveBeyond to provide ongoing support to communities affected by disasters. Relocating to Thomazeau, Haiti, they created a sustainable compound that includes a school, medical clinic, and demonstration farm, dedicated to transforming lives.
LiveBeyond has positively impacted over 200,000 individuals by providing essential healthcare, nutrition, and education. Daily, 8,000 children receive nutritious meals, ensuring they have the energy to learn and grow.
