Our Story
In 2011, Donna Fortier recognized the alarming number of homeless youth in Loudoun County and initiated Mobile Hope as a project at Inova Loudoun Hospital. Starting with a mobile bus, she distributed essential items like clothing, food, and hygiene products to those in need. By 2012, Mobile Hope became an independent 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to serving homeless and at-risk youth up to age 24. The organization operates without restrictive policies, ensuring that every young person receives the support they need without barriers. Mobile Hope believes in the unrealized potential of every youth and stands alongside them on their journey from homelessness to self-sufficiency.
