Our Story
The Mobile Environmental Justice Action Coalition (MEJAC) was established in September 2013 by residents of Africatown, collaborating with local stakeholders and advocates. This coalition is dedicated to empowering Mobile, Alabama’s most vulnerable communities to secure their rights to clean air, water, soil, health, and safety.
