Our Story
The Mitchell P. Harmon Memorial Scholarship Foundation was established in 1988 as a tribute to Mitch Harmon, a dedicated athlete and 1979 graduate of Churchill High School. After losing his battle with cancer at the young age of 28, the Foundation was created to support the educational aspirations of senior football players from Woodland Hills High School. Initially granting $1,000 scholarships, the Foundation has evolved to award scholarships to both male and female athletes, providing over $150,000 in total since its inception.
