Our Story

Misunderstood Mutts Rescue was established in October 2016 with a mission to rescue dogs from local areas in Washington State. In 2020, the organization expanded its vision to include low-cost spay and neuter services through voucher systems and traveling clinics. MMR is committed to being a catalyst for a world free of homeless, neglected, abused, and abandoned pets.

Impact

Every year, Misunderstood Mutts Rescue helps over 60 homeless and abandoned animals find new homes, significantly reducing the number of animals in shelters.
