Our Story

Misty Eyes Animal Center was founded in October 2011 by Renee Harlor and Cherie Fox, driven by the urgent need to address the high number of animals being euthanized in Hendricks County. This nonprofit organization is dedicated to saving homeless animals and promoting responsible pet ownership.

Our Impact

With a mission to end the needless euthanasia of domesticated pets throughout Indiana, Misty Eyes has turned away over 5,400 animals due to space constraints. This highlights the critical need for their services and the importance of community support.
