Our Story
The Missouri Propane Safety Commission (MPSC) was established by the Missouri Propane Safety Act of 2007, transferring the responsibility of regulating propane from the Department of Agriculture to the commission. Since becoming the inspection authority in October 2008, MPSC has been dedicated to ensuring the safe use of liquefied petroleum gases across the state. Comprising nine members appointed by the Governor, the commission is committed to developing and implementing comprehensive propane safety plans and programs.
