MISSISSIPPI SPORTS FLIERS FOUNDATION

The specific purpose of the Corporation is to provide educational and recreational services to youth throughout MS by serving as a bridge between middle school -high school athletes and college life. Targeted areas include school districts and nearby communities with history of low academic performance, and those that lack adequate recreational facilities for local youth. The corporation will offer these services in the form of 1) Health and Recreation - health awareness seminars (including nutrition and obesity), alcohol drug abuse prevention workshops, local sports activities and summer camps; and 2) Career Guidance - insuring college and career counseling is accessible through local schools or local community organizations 3) Youth Mentoring Program: Former Student athletes, Business professional.
