The Secular Institute of Missionaries of the Kingship of Christ (SIM) was founded in 1919 by Agostino Gemelli OFM and Armida Barelli. With papal approval received in 1948 and definitive approval in 1953, SIM has grown to over 2200 members across more than 30 countries. Members live a life of total consecration to God, embodying the spirit of St. Francis of Assisi as they witness Christ's love in the world.
SIM members strive to be 'leaven and salt' in the world, collaborating to spread the reign of God through lives of witness and service. Their commitment to secular consecration and service has made a significant impact in communities worldwide.
