Mission Santa Maria began in 2007 after a transformative volunteer trip by Jim Campbell to a foster home for children from abusive situations. Established by Ecuadorian missionary sisters over 30 years ago, this home has evolved into a sanctuary for children, complemented by a school that serves 1,200 students from the surrounding area. In 2019, Jim and his wife Grace moved to Ecuador to further their commitment to these children.
Through partnerships with local organizations, Mission Santa Maria provides shelter and high-quality education to children who have faced significant abuse, neglect, or extreme poverty. This initiative offers these children a sanctuary and a chance for a brighter future.
