Mission First

Our Story

Founded in 1999 as a ministry of First Baptist Jackson, Mission First was born out of a desire to transform the Rosedown Apartments into a beacon of hope. This community center now houses essential services including a medical and dental clinic, legal aid office, educational facility, and gym. Over the years, partnerships with 10 churches and various corporations have fueled its growth. In 2016, Mission First merged with Neighborhood Christian Center and Peyton's House to enhance service delivery and better meet community needs.

Mission First provides Christ-centered education, hope, and care for the uninsured, effectively addressing the physical and practical needs of the community.
