Founded in 1998 by Richard and Gina Headrick, Mission At The Cross emerged from a heartfelt initiative known as 'the Bum Ministry.' This organization is dedicated to providing shelter and support for homeless men and those battling addiction. With a vision to establish multiple shelters across the United States, the first facility opened in 2007 in Sturgis, South Dakota, followed by a second in Laurel, Mississippi, and more locations in various states.
