Miracle Food Network began with a mission to combat food waste and food insecurity. The founder was driven by the alarming reality of perfectly good surplus food being discarded while many individuals and families struggled to meet their basic food needs. By connecting people to food and resources, MFN strives to ensure that no one goes hungry and that valuable resources are utilized effectively.
In 2023, Miracle Food Network rescued over 1.4 million pounds of food, translating to more than 1.2 million meals served. This effort has also saved approximately 657 million gallons of water and prevented nearly 783,000 kilograms of CO2 emissions from entering landfills.
