Our Story

The RoundtableRx initiative began in 2017 when dedicated University of Minnesota students collaborated with state lawmakers to draft legislation for a medication repository in Minnesota. With support from various healthcare entities and professionals, this initiative gained overwhelming bipartisan support, leading to the law's passage in 2019. In December 2020, the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy designated RoundtableRx as the official operator of the state’s medication repository program.
