Minnesota Distance Elite, formerly known as Team USA Minnesota, was established in 2001 in the vibrant Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul. This organization is dedicated to enhancing the competitiveness of post-collegiate American distance runners, fostering a supportive environment for athletes to train and compete at the highest levels.
Since its inception, Minnesota Distance Elite has significantly contributed to American distance running, achieving 81 top three finishes in U.S. Championships and placing 30 athletes on U.S. World teams.
