Our Story
MINISTRY OF HOPE LESOTHO is dedicated to nurturing the health and well-being of impoverished and orphaned children in Maseru, the capital city of the Kingdom of Lesotho. Founded in 2009 by Mamonyane Mohale and Nancy Dimmock, this organization began as a maternal health clinic focused on improving outcomes for newborns through breastfeeding. However, the mission quickly expanded to address the urgent needs of abandoned, abused, and malnourished children.
In 2010, following the closure of a poorly managed orphanage, the national government entrusted Ministry of Hope with the care of these vulnerable children. The organization has since provided a loving home, nutritional and developmental rehabilitation, and facilitated family reunification and adoption placements.
