Our Story

In 2005, a vision emerged from SuttonBeresCuller to transform a neglected property in King County into a vibrant community space. By 2008, the Mini Mart City Park site was identified, and environmental assessments began. The establishment of Mini Mart City Park as a 501(c)(3) in 2013 marked a significant milestone, leading to the purchase of the site. With the support of the Georgetown community, the park opened to the public, featuring a unique design by goCstudio that includes sliding walls and a green roof. This innovative space fosters indoor and outdoor activities, from art exhibits to community gatherings, while honoring the site's history and promoting environmental healing through art.

Impact

Mini Mart City Park is dedicated to serving as an artist-designed, community-led space that champions creativity and public health through diverse programming in the Lower Duwamish Valley.
