Our Story

Founded in 1991 by Colonel Sybil Mercer, the Minerva Scholarship Fund began with a challenge to her friends to match her $5,000 donation. This initiative sparked a community effort, leading to a total of $30,000 by 1993, enabling the fund to offer scholarships to women in need.
