Minds Matter is a national organization founded in New York City in 1991 by dedicated professionals aiming to mentor high-achieving high school students from low-income households. With a mission to provide the resources and support necessary for these students to pursue a college education, Minds Matter has expanded to fourteen chapters across the United States, including Minds Matter Seattle, established in 2013.

Impacting Futures

Every student in the Minds Matter program is accepted into a four-year college or university, with over 75% enrolling in top-tier institutions. Remarkably, nearly half of these students attend prestigious colleges such as Brown, Cornell, Georgetown, and MIT, with a graduation rate of 78% within six years.
