Our Story

The Milwaukee Artist Resource Network, established in 2000, was created by local artists to build a supportive infrastructure that connects and empowers the creative community. Initially focused on fostering communication and collaboration, MARN has evolved to advocate for local artists and develop programs that address their professional and economic challenges. A significant milestone was the opening of the MARN Art + Culture Hub in 2021, featuring gallery spaces, a marketplace, and event venues designed to elevate local artists’ visibility and provide them with opportunities to showcase and sell their work.
