Our Story

Founded in 1988 by dedicated parents at Adas Israel Congregation, Milton Gottesman Jewish Day School of the Nations Capital began as the Jewish Primary Day School. The vision was to create a nurturing environment that integrates Jewish heritage with a robust general studies curriculum. Achieving independence in 1999, the school has since expanded to include a middle school, reflecting its commitment to educational excellence and community engagement.

Impact

Today, the school serves over 470 students from Pre-K to Grade 8, fostering a vibrant, pluralistic Jewish community that emphasizes academic excellence and civic engagement.
