Our Story
On August 14, 2017, the world lost a remarkable woman, Millie D'Agostino. Born on March 15, 1939, in East Harlem, New York, Millie was a beacon of love, music, and community service. Growing up in a vibrant Italian family, she was surrounded by the sounds of her father’s violin and her mother’s singing. Millie’s passion for the arts flourished as she graced over 75 theatrical productions across Long Island, captivating audiences with her performances in musicals, dramas, and comedies.
To honor her legacy, the Millie D'Agostino Scholarship Fund was established, dedicated to sharing her love for music and theater with future generations. This fund aims to provide scholarships to qualified high school seniors pursuing a college education in the fine arts, specifically in musical theater and acting.
