Our Story

The Miles Jeffrey Roberts Foundation was established in memory of Miles, who tragically lost his life to suicide at the age of 15. This heartbreaking event on May 29, 2017, ignited a passion to combat the stigma surrounding mental health and suicide. Initially, a fund was created at the University of Michigan Depression Center to support Peer to Peer Mentoring programs in schools, focusing on anxiety and depression awareness.

Our Impact

Since its inception in August 2019, the foundation has launched the MJRF Mental Health Champions Program, engaging youth athletes through trusted adults to promote mental well-being and suicide prevention.
