Our Story

Mikaela's Mutt Motel was founded by Mikaela, a dedicated Army veteran who began fostering dogs in 2016. Officially established in May 2022, the organization focuses on rescuing stray, neglected, and unwanted dogs, especially those with medical or behavioral challenges.

Impact

Since its inception, Mikaela's Mutt Motel has successfully rescued and placed over 100 dogs, providing them with essential medical care, including heartworm treatments and surgeries, all made possible through community support.
