Mighty Writers, founded in 2009, is dedicated to teaching children ages 3 to 17 to think clearly and write with clarity. Serving communities in Philadelphia, Camden, Newark, Atlantic City, and El Paso, this nonprofit organization provides free programs to children and families. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Mighty Writers expanded its mission to include food distribution and essential resources for families in need.

Each year, Mighty Writers empowers over 4,500 children, enhancing their literacy skills and helping them achieve success. The food distribution program serves 70,000 families annually, tackling both literacy and food insecurity.
