Founded by Meg and Kael Busing, the Midwest YouCan Foundation emerged from a personal journey through the challenges of intractable epilepsy. After a decade of battling seizures, Meg, a dedicated nurse and mother, recognized the profound impact of community support. In 2011, they established Camp YouCan, Nebraska's first and only camp designed specifically for children with epilepsy, fostering a safe and understanding environment.
Through recreational programs and community outreach, the foundation empowers individuals with epilepsy to build meaningful relationships and enhance their self-confidence.
