Our Story

The Midlands Housing Trust Fund is a certified Community Development Financial Institution dedicated to lending to housing developers. This initiative focuses on the creation, rehabilitation, and preservation of affordable housing for households earning less than 80% of Area Median Income across a twenty-three county area in South Carolina.

Impact

With over $1 million in federal funds awarded, the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Community Development Financial Institutions Fund has recognized the Midlands Housing Trust Fund's efforts, providing a CDFI Rapid Response Program award of $1,094,000 to support economic growth in distressed communities.
