The Midland County Fair, with roots dating back to 1866, began in a Methodist Church and transitioned outdoors in 1867. Re-established in 1939, the Midland County Agricultural and Horticultural Society has played a pivotal role in preserving this cherished event, which has grown to become one of Michigan's most recognized fairs.
