Our Story

Founded in 1957 by the Art Committee of the Federation of Women's Clubs of Middletown, the Middletown Arts Center has evolved significantly. Originally located in the basement of the American Legion, it moved to its current location in 1975 and rebranded as the Middletown Arts Center in 2002. The center aims to enrich the community through creative expression via education, exhibition, and collaboration.

The Middletown Arts Center enriches the community by providing access to art education and cultural experiences, with an average enrollment of 1,200 - 1,400 students annually and hosting 8 large exhibits each year.
