Our Story
The Middle East Forum of Falmouth (MEFF) was founded in 2006 as a platform for diverse discussions on Middle Eastern issues. Originally known as 'The Ad Hoc Committee for Peace and Justice in the Middle East,' it was established by a group of friends and colleagues from the Falmouth summer community, many with backgrounds in academia and U.S. diplomacy. In 2017, MEFF restructured and obtained 501(c)(3) status, continuing its mission to present a variety of perspectives through engaging lectures. Since 2020, the organization has successfully transitioned to virtual formats, ensuring accessibility during the pandemic.
