Our Story

Midcoast Humane was established in 2016 through the merger of Coastal Humane Society and Lincoln County Animal Shelter, both with rich histories dating back to the 1950s. This organization is dedicated to rescuing and caring for stray, neglected, and homeless pets in Midcoast Maine.
