Our Story

In June 2015, Brenda Starr-Jude was inspired to create a nonprofit organization after discussions with Judge Philip Alan B. Mayer. The need for advocacy for individuals deemed incompetent by the Richland and Crawford County Probate Court was evident. By November 2016, Mid Ohio Guardianship Services Inc became an official 501c3 nonprofit, partnering with local agencies to serve the community. Celebrating 7 years of dedicated service in November 2023, MOGSI continues to make a difference in the lives of vulnerable adults.
