Mid-County Center

Our Story

Founded in 1979 by State Representatives Robert Gilligan and Roger Roy, Mid-County Center has evolved from its humble beginnings in the basement of St. Barnabas Episcopal Church to a thriving community hub located in a former elementary school. Under the leadership of the first Executive Director, Sally Williams, the center has dedicated itself to creating a vibrant environment for individuals aged 50 and above.

Since its inception, Mid-County Center has positively impacted the lives of over 4,600 individuals, providing essential services that foster social interaction, fitness, and community support.
