Our Story

The Microenterprise Collaborative of Inland Southern California was established in 2011 by dedicated community leaders in Riverside, CA. This initiative was born out of a need to enhance microenterprise development in the Inland Empire, addressing the challenges faced by nonbank microlenders and raising awareness of available resources for small business owners.

Impact

Micro-businesses represent 90% of all businesses in the region, playing a vital role in job creation and economic growth. The Collaborative has successfully provided over $34 million in capital, supported more than 20,000 jobs, and trained over 11,000 individuals in essential management skills.
