Our Story

Since its inception in October 1977, the Michigan Gateway Community Foundation has transformed from a single community foundation into a full-service, accredited organization dedicated to serving Southern Berrien County, particularly Niles and Buchanan, as well as Cass County. Established by four visionary incorporators, the foundation aims to enhance the quality of life in the community through strategic philanthropy.
