The Michael Reese Research and Education Foundation was established in 1991 by the dedicated physicians and staff of Michael Reese Hospital. Following the hospital's sale, the Foundation has continued its mission to provide essential safety net activities and grant programs, ensuring that quality healthcare remains accessible to all in the Chicago area.

Impact

Since its inception, the Foundation has endowed five named professors at the University of Illinois and supports translational medical research programs at several prestigious institutions, continuing the legacy of Michael Reese Hospital.
