Our Story

The Michael Cronhelm Foundation Trust was established in memory of Michael Cronhelm, who dedicated his life to supporting education in marginalized communities in Northern Kenya. After his passing in 2004, his family committed to continuing his legacy by providing educational resources and support to the Daasanach community in Ileret.

Impact

Significant strides have been made in enhancing educational access and outcomes for the Daasanach community. The foundation has successfully built a library, a primary school, and teacher accommodations, leading to improved exam results for local students.
