Operation Hope was established in 1986 by dedicated local residents who recognized the urgent need for food and shelter in their community. This grassroots effort, led by clergy and lay leaders, laid the foundation for a compassionate organization committed to serving those in need. Over the years, Operation Hope has expanded its services to include various shelters and supportive housing options, ensuring that no one in Fairfield County goes hungry or homeless.

Each year, Operation Hope provides over 123,000 meals and offers supportive affordable housing for previously homeless families and individuals, significantly enhancing their quality of life.
