Our Story

Founded in 2011, Micah 6 Community began with a vision to be good neighbors in Pontiac, Michigan. After moving to the area, the founders immersed themselves in local organizations and listened to the community's needs. They discovered significant challenges, including limited access to healthy food, homelessness, and a lack of activities for children. In response, Micah 6 Community initiated projects like community gardens, youth engagement programs, and support for those experiencing homelessness.

Our Impact

Each year, thousands of pounds of fresh produce are grown and distributed within the community, fostering enrichment, learning, and connection for neighborhood children.
