Our Story
The Miami Symphony Orchestra (MISO), now in its historic 38th season, serves as Miami’s Official Symphony Orchestra. With a diverse ensemble of 90 professional musicians from around the globe, MISO reflects the rich cultural tapestry of South Florida. Founded in 1989 by the late Manuel Ochoa and led by acclaimed conductor Eduardo Marturet since 2006, MISO is dedicated to delivering high-quality musical programs that engage and enrich the community.
