Our Story
Founded in 1974 by Richard “Dick” Moran, Miami Bridge Youth & Family Services began as a temporary shelter for runaways under Catholic Charities. Over the years, it has transformed into a vital community leader dedicated to empowering at-risk youth aged 10-17 and strengthening families in crisis. With a rich history of advocacy for homeless youth in South Florida, Miami Bridge has established a Board of Directors and constructed facilities to enhance its services.
Impact
Each year, Miami Bridge serves over 500 children through its emergency shelter program and assists approximately 400 families via its First Stop for Families Program, significantly contributing to youth and family stability in Miami-Dade County.
