The Mexican War Streets Society (MWSS) was founded in 1969 by passionate community members dedicated to preserving this unique area. With a board composed of local leaders, MWSS focuses on key initiatives such as Preservation, Greenspace, Programs, and Membership. Each December, community members elect board members, ensuring that the future of the neighborhood is guided by those who truly understand its character.
